In a mise en scene that mirrored lightness and playfulness, a grandiose collection was presented for Giambattista Valli’s Couture of spring summer 2015.
A very Valli collection usually comes with a promise of sculptural silhouettes and a huge amount of florals, in all shapes and forms. This notion was taken and blown into surprises from start to finish. The disruption began right from the start, when models appeared in tulle skirts worn over silk crepe pants. This look came and went throughout a show that will be remembered for its intact sophistication.
A personal favourite is a look ensembling a matching 2 piece and a white fur cape.
The conclusion is: j’adore Giambattista Valli and this collection is yet another reminder of why we all should, non?
