There was a messy, sinister, elegant look at the women’s Ann Demeulemeester fall-winter 15/16.
The flowing layers, fabrics, and accessorising were well put together in a manner that echoed the brand’s menswear collection. The two shared a similar colour palette of black, white, red.
Stripes, leather, silk and sheer fabrics that consisted in the making of the outfits benefited from the predominance of black gloves and belts. The leather black boots in the footwear department remained dark and imposing.
If unkept elegance is not a thing this collection invented it.
