In its autumn-winter 15/16 collection, A.F. Vandevorst had used distressed and worn texture, monochromatic greys, rich botanical drawn styles and pattern cover-ups. On how Alexis Mabille never disappoints, this also came to mind. There is something theatrical about his entire creation. Although, they can be at times subtle, they are all imposing in a sense that they require you to stop and admire the level of artistry invested im the making of every single garment. I’m in awe.
